Who are you?
I am a self styled digital consultant whose been in IT since the start of the internet. Dos windows 3.11 and word perfect – now mobile, cloud and blockchain (never stop learning). I have a huge raft of competencies and experience but fortunately I have forgotten more than I can remember.
What are you working on?
I’m currently doing a Training and Assessment cert 4 with TAFE, and scratching up on some work with local government. Funnily, I’m loving being back in Gero after spending 5 years in Kalgoorlie.
Who do you collaborate with?
No one at the moment – I haven’t found a niche yet in Gero. I’m really enjoying collaborating and communicating with fellow members and coworkers of Pollinators and aim to continue doing so in the future.
Is there an innovation you’re loving right now?
Wow… Innovation for some can be desolation for others. The digital divide is becoming a class divide and the old ways are now almost too old. Blockchain (low code rapid development platforms) and useful digital platforms in general are my “now” interests. My favourite innovation is the indigenous truth telling movement – Bring it on!
Is there a time when you are most creative?
Just stick it in that box on ya shoulders, let it bounce around for a couple of days… then out she spouts.
